What could be more dreamy for a California Catholic Wedding Photographer than a Catholic wedding during the Christmas Octave?
Only doing it for three years in a row! Take a look here for some photos from other weddings I have photographed throughout the Church year.
The wedding of Daisy and Juan took place at the new St. Stanislaus Catholic Church on Maze Boulevard in Modesto, California with a beautiful Christmas wedding. As a California Catholic photographer, I was so thankful to be able to photograph their special day!
They were surrounded by a close group of friends and family. It turned out to be beautifully sunny for them, too!
Let’s get started and see some photographs of the Bride getting ready.

I always like to start with some Getting Ready photographs of the Bride. After portraits, we take some photos with the bridesmaids.
St. Stanislaus has a really lovely Bride’s Room with some stained glass windows and artwork. The stained glass of St. Isidore and his wife, St. Maria de la Cabeza, is beautiful since he is the patron saint of farmers and it really honors our farming community. It is also great to have a canonized married couple in the Bride’s Room as well!

I love the Caravaggio print!

When the bride’s parents saw her for the first time, there were not many dry eyes in the room.

Daisy honored her father with a sweet photo sticker of them together on the back of his tie.

Soon, after it was almost time for the wedding to begin. At this point, I get my camera ready and take some photographs of the interior of the church. I love to capture both the liturgical and architectural elements.

Since it was in the Christmas Octave, the Church was decorated beautifully and the Liturgy was beautiful, as well!

With the flowers to Our Lady, Lazo, and Arras, all the Catholic traditions made for a reverent and lovely Mass.

And the photograph all the Catholic couples want.

What we Catholic Wedding Photographers affectionately refer to as, “The Shot”.
After was the Lazo, placed by the Groom’s sisters.

As a California Catholic Photographer, I am so thankful to be part of the sacrament of marriage for local couples!
